EURO COLLECTION
Privacy policy
Last updated: 29 August 2026.
Who is responsible for the service
Euro Collection operates this service. This policy explains how account and collection data is handled when you use it.
Information we process
We process the e-mail address, username, selected country, password hash, two-factor security settings, profile-privacy preference, and collection records you provide. If you use notifications or the report-a-problem feature, we also process the content you submit and the security records needed to operate those features. A random browser identifier and its first and most recent activity times are stored for aggregate visitor and online-presence statistics; the visitor record does not store a name, e-mail address, or raw IP address.
Why we use it
We use this information to create and protect your account, store your collection, provide the features you request, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and maintain the reliability and security of Euro Collection. The account and collection processing is necessary to provide the service; security logging and abuse prevention are necessary to protect the service and its users.
Visibility and community features
Your collection contributes to aggregated community statistics and rankings. When your profile is private, other users cannot open it or directly compare their collection with yours.
Service providers and international transfers
Euro Collection is hosted on the operator’s private server. E-mail confirmation and password-reset messages are sent through the configured SMTP provider. The optional Statistics map may load Google Charts from gstatic.com; if it is unavailable, the app uses bundled map data. Do not use Google sign-in: it is not offered by this service.
Retention and deletion
Your account data is retained while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account from profile settings after confirming your password. Deletion removes your personal collection and account data that can be safely removed. Administrator-created records may require reassignment or retention to preserve catalogue integrity and auditability.
Your rights and choices
You can update your username (subject to the one-year change limit), country, privacy setting, and password in profile settings. To request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or to raise a privacy concern, use the contact form. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
